ChemSorb Pleated Panel Filter (CTC 85 Virgin and Impregnated Carbon)

Low Pressure Drop, Chemically Enhanced Media for Odor and Particle Removal!

  The composite filter offers 30-35%, MERV 8 filtration efficiency with higher carbon loading of 300~1000 g/m2. The selective CTC 60/70/85 granular activated carbon comes with 30x60/20x50 mesh size and high iodine value for better adsorption efficiency. Higher carbon content provides added capacity. Standard media removes commonly-found odors, including VOCs, vehicle exhaust, cigarette smoke, food preparation and many objectionable sources with better performance. The filter media is pleated and packed with higher density to significantly increase the amount of media surface area contained in the filter. And, the pleated media is sealed inside the moisture resistant cardboard frame to prevent bypass/outgas.

   Chemically enhanced, impregnated carbon removes additional odors, including acid gases - SO2, NOx, base gases - Ammonia, "Rotten Egg" odors - H2S, Mercaptans and more. The enhanced media captures additional odors through chemical and physical adsorption. (Standard carbon relies on physical adsorption only).
